The Laissez-Faire Competition

Are you a teacher, studio owner or judge?  Would you like to compete in competition but do not want to compete against your students?  Are you a professional judge and don't have the opportunity to enter competitions?  Our show is providing a way to do so.

The competition named Laissez-Faire will be open to those doll makers that wish to continue to grow through competition.

Judged by a professional, certified judge, these dolls never enter the regular competition room but are secreted away from the regular judging staff and held in a private room awaiting our guest judge's critique.  Once judged the dolls will be displayed in the show room in a separate display area away from the normal competition so as to remove any doubt that they are not part of the regular competition.

Rules and regulations are the same as regular competition, entry fees are the same and awards will be given as they are for any competition.  Best of Show, Judges Choice, Best of Division and Best of Category are all to be awarded as well as placement ribbons as long as there are at least three dolls entered into each division.  Because this special competition is almost certainly much smaller than our regular competition we ask that you register your doll in advance on the form provided in this section under Competition.  Complete the form and send it to our registration chairperson, as all of the competitors will do.  She will separate the forms according to the competition you are entering.  Make very sure that you specify that you are entering The Laissez-Faire Competition.
